The Southern Minnesota Pointer Club is dedicated to pointing dogs used to hunt upland game.
With weekly meetings (Wednesday) from April to September, the club uses live birds to train bird dogs. Homing pigeons and bird launchers are used to produce steady dogs.
You can choose to use quail for shoot-to-retrieve training for a fee of $5.50/quail. Meetings are held at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club.
